After years of shooting stuff in the studios, what can I say, I'm drawn to the close-ups! A few recent weddings...

I am a commercial photographer based in Portland, Oregon, USA. Originally from NJ, educated in AZ, PA, & NY, I moved to Oregon in 1996, shooting primarily advertising, editorial and lifestyle; weddings, portraits, products, locations , seniors, sports, reunions and special events, capturing moments and telling visual stories. When not photographing in the studio or on location, I have fun with my wife and daughter, family and friends, camping, traveling, rafting, cross-country & downhill skiing, and photographing nature & motorsports!

Hey Brian, I clicked on your blog today and the first thing I see, I say: "WOW"! I love the warmth and natural lighting used here on the cake, and the bride and groom in the background is a nice touch. The bride and her boquet is gorgeous, and the last photo is very creative! Cool features. The bride/bouquet picture looks like a magazine cover.
Question about the third one: wondering what the picture would look like if you cropped it slightly horizontally so that the entire frame of the picture was black. Just a thought!
